Only when there is news worth telling you, such as a confirmed pay award, back pay dates, a pension increase or a rule change. There is no fixed schedule, and some months there may be nothing.
Is it free? +
Yes. The updates are free. Some emails mention our calculators and paid tools where they are relevant, but you never have to buy anything to stay on the list.
Where do the facts come from? +
From official sources: NHS Employers and the NHS Staff Council for Agenda for Change pay, GOV.UK and HMRC for tax, and NHS Pensions and the scheme rules for pensions. We link the source in every update.
Are you part of the NHS or a union? +
No. FrontlinePay is independent. We are not affiliated with the NHS, NHS England, any trust or any trade union. If you need advice on your own case, speak to your union representative or HR.
