Corrections Policy

Pay, pension and tax rules change often, and calculators can contain mistakes despite our best efforts. Here's what happens when one is found:

• We fix it fast. Once a factual error is confirmed, we correct it as soon as we reasonably can — we don't leave known errors live.
• Material corrections are dated. A guide's "last updated" date reflects the most recent substantive change, including corrections.
• We tell you how to report one. Use the contact form and select "Report a factual error" — include the page URL and what you believe is wrong.

We take particular care with figures that affect financial decisions — pension projections, tax calculations, and pay scale figures — and prioritise corrections to these above cosmetic issues.
